CISR is hiring a Development Manager and a Site Coordinator!
Communities In Schools of Renton (CISR) is part of the nation’s largest dropout prevention network serving at risk youth in the Greater Renton Community since 1995. CISR’s mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. We are currently seeking a dynamic development professional to help us create the next generation of CISR in order to expand our support to students and families in the Renton and Tukwila School Districts. Our 2017-2018 budget is $571,000 and we expect to serve approximately 9000 children and families, providing case management services to over 700 students.
Site Coordinator, Middle School:
This position is responsible for the overall planning and implementation of the Communities In Schools model of integrated student supports, in strong collaboration and partnership with school staff at a Middle School in the Renton School District. This school based position identifies and coordinates community resources and partnerships to address the identified needs of students at risk of dropping out through confidential, developmentally appropriate, culturally sensitive interventions, services and supports. CISR identifies and serves students exhibiting early warning indicators and risk factors that may lead to academic failure and/or dropout. This position will provide wrap around services to meet the needs of students and families and support the student’s academic success. This position is 40 hours a week, working a 200-day school year.
